That’s why we launched TRG Cares—a global initiative underpinned by the pillars of our People & Planet program and our company value, ‘we transform lives’. This initiative enables us to give back to our nominated charities and support the causes closest to our employees’ hearts.
Through TRG Cares, we empower our employees to embrace new opportunities, use their passion and skills to help others and make a positive difference in their local communities and beyond.
Volunteer days
We encourage our employees to get involved in their local communities, and to help them do this, everyone across Tenth Revolution Group is entitled to one paid day off every year to volunteer with a cause that means the most to them.
Employees are responsible for organizing their own volunteer day. They can do this individually or with their colleagues, which builds their team spirit and helps them get to know each other better.
From beach cleans and food banks to animal shelters and urban farms, our employees have put their volunteer days and specialist skills to good use, helping people from all walks of life and the non-profits most in need.
Since launching TRG Cares, our employees have clocked up 648 hours of volunteering in their local communities worldwide.

Our charitable causes
St. Martin's School
St. Martin’s School has been our global corporate charity since 2019. We were drawn to its mission to educate local children and provide them with a safe environment to learn, play, and receive regular meals. As a tech talent company that helps people find new jobs and upskill, this resonates with our ethos to support the next generation and transform lives.
St. Martin’s School is located in Kibagare, one of the poorest areas in Nairobi, where people have limited access to basic amenities such as food and water. Extreme environmental conditions, including prolonged periods of drought, also impact the local community.
Charitable support is vital to the school’s survival. Over the last five years, we have hosted numerous fundraising activities and undertaken volunteer trips to the school to help deliver their food program, teach the students about tech, and mentor pupils on various subjects.
Not only are we ensuring that young people from Kibagare can build a brighter future, but we are also providing our employees with the opportunity to give back selflessly, build connections with others, and use their skills to support this disadvantaged community.
Meet the volunteer
Jodie Thirlaway, an Accounts Payable Manager from our Newcastle office, shares her experience of volunteering with St. Martin’s School in 2023.
What activities did you get involved in during the volunteer trip?
We were split into three groups once we got to St. Martin’s. My group got involved in primary school reading lessons, art classes, a sports day and the school’s community food program. I also participated in discussions with secondary school girls on understanding menstrual cycles and relationships. Families were also kind enough to welcome us into their homes and talk to us about how the school community outreach programs help them.
What was your highlight?
My highlight was meeting Felix, who is the child I now sponsor. Unfortunately, Felix was forced to drop out of secondary school as his family could not pay his tuition. Sister Emmah told me his story, and I signed up to support him. He was so excited to go back to school the following week!
Did you discover anything about yourself or learn anything new?
I feel a lot more appreciative of my lifestyle. I made some great new friends from across the business, and I hope to be able to visit St. Martin’s again soon.
