The latest step on our sustainability journey has seen Frank Recruitment Group receive its second consecutive silver medal from Ecovadis.
The scheme holds corporations around the world to account on their environmental and social responsibility. From labor and human rights to ethics and sustainable procurement practices, companies are able to rate or be rated on the platform.
Over 1.6 million businesses have been screened since its inception in 2007, including Salesforce, Nestle, Unilever, and Coca-Cola.
“This is fantastic recognition of our own journey, which is very much ongoing,” said Elle Parker, Global Head of Sustainability at Frank Recruitment Group. “Our commitment to continually improve what we are doing when it comes to environmental and social sustainability is unwavering, so it’s important for us to be able to track our progress, as well as celebrate what we have achieved together so far.”
Placing well above the industry average, our score was just four points off the gold medal and puts us in the top 13% of companies overall! Our score of 66/100 also sees us move into the ‘Advanced’ bracket, which is testament to the hard work we’ve put in.
Highlights include gaining ten points in Labor and Human Rights, ten points in Ethics (making this the strongest area of our assessment) and moving to Intermediate standard in Carbon Management. Those gains have helped put us in the top 6% of companies in our industry.
While our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability achievements are a journey rather than a goal, our silver medal from Ecovadis is a tangible way to mark our progress, as well as chart our way forward in the future.
